At Quinta dos Machados - Country House, Spa & Events, the atmosphere is serene, with the wood and stone of architecture from four centuries to punctuate the decoration. Surrounded by nature, the atmosphere predisposes our guests to a unique experience of rest and vitality. Come and discover our centennial sidewalks, visit our main building, declared of architectural interest, or sit next to our "Bela Portuguesa" rose bush, so rare that it is one of the few specimens in Portugal.
Sensory stations (staging points) were implemented in order to allow a set of different sensory experiences, taking advantage of Nature and exploring the five senses of the human body: vision, hearing, taco, smell and taste.
The sensory course always has an electric vehicle, of the type adapted golf cart, that allows to transport passengers with any type of physical, temporary or permanent limitation. We also have a Joelette, a mono-wheel all-terrain seat designed for people with reduced mobility.
Our concept of Rural Tourism Spa has been designed so that you can relax, whether on a two-day break, in family or in a company event. We have a Gym and a Spa with resident masseuse (massages under reservation). The Spa also has a sauna, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, relaxation area and solarium. Ask us for the "Ritual da Quinta", it is the treatment that surprises and marks who visits us.
Our outdoor pool offers a children's play area, handicapped accessible facilities, solarium and a large lawn with woods framing, massage area and support bar.
