Reservations

→ How can I book a hotel stay?

To make a reservation, select your hotel, click on "Reserve Now", choose the room you want to reserve and fill in the requested fields until the end of the process.

→ How can I change my reservation?

To change your booking please do so through the booking confirmation link you will receive in your email.

→ How can I check the services and amenities of the room and hotel that I intend to book?

You can check the services and amenities of the room and the hotel in Click2Portugal, on the hotel website, or in the e-mail confirming your reservation.

→ What are the check-in and check-out times of a hotel?

Check-in and check-out times depend on the hotel you wish to book. The times may be mentioned on the hotel page during the reservation process or in your confirmation email. If you have any questions, please contact the hotel directly.

→ I will arrive at the hotel after check-in time. How do I know if I can still check in?

Please contact the hotel directly to see if it is possible to check in at the time you want.

→ I can not find my reservation confirmation email. What should I do?

Please contact the hotel directly to send you an email with the details of your reservation.

→ How do I get an invoice for my stay?

After your stay, ask the hotel for your invoice.

→ Will I pay the full rate for my child (ren)?

Additional costs for children, if any, may not be included in the reservation price. If you do not find additional information when processing your reservation, please contact the hotel directly if you need to pay for your child (ren).

Can I be provided extra beds / cribs for my children?

→ What is the difference between a Double Room and a Twin Room?

The double room is equipped with a double bed. The Twin Room has two separate twin beds. If a room is designated as Double / Twin, it can be configured in both ways. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.

→ How do I know if the hotel allows pets?

Payment

→ At what point and who will charge my reservation?

Any charge that is made to your credit card will be made exclusively by the hotel. Click2Portugal does not charge your credit card or save your credit card details. The hotel may charge a prepayment according to the prepayment conditions defined at the time of booking. This can be done to verify your credit card, and a lock-up of a value is done until check-out. The time at which the charge is made depends on the hotel and the type of rate you wish to select. For more information, please contact the hotel directly.

→ What is a prepayment?

Some hotels require a down payment. The prepayment is a charge levied by the hotel prior to your stay. The date and amount of the payment charged depends on the prepayment condition on the reservation you make.

→ What taxes are included or not included in my reservation?

Click2Portugal does not charge any reservation fee. Any applicable additional fees or charges will be set by the hotel and / or local law. For more information, please contact the hotel directly.

→ Can I pay in advance for my reservation?

It is possible, but this will depend on the hotel and the rate you wish to select. For more information, please contact the hotel directly.

→ Can I pay for my stay with a different credit card than the one used to book?

The hotels usually accept that the payment of the stay is done with a different card or in cash. For more information, please contact the hotel directly.

→ Why do I have to provide my credit card details when making a reservation?

Hotels require this information to confirm their reservation. You can go through a pre-authorization process * to ensure that your card is valid and has sufficient balance. In some cases, depending on the conditions of your reservation, your data is used to pay for your stay at the time of booking.

→ The hotel where I booked made a charge. What should I do?

Depending on the payment conditions of the reservation, this charge may be one of the following:

  1. A pre-authorization, which is the temporary retention of a monetary value to ensure that your card is valid and has sufficient balance. The amount withheld will be returned to your account after a certain period of time, this period being dependent on the hotel and the provider of your card.
  2. A deposit or prepayment, which are required by some hotels at the time of booking. This is indicated at the time the reservation is made. If you are eligible for a free cancellation, this amount will be refunded when you cancel your reservation.

→ Are taxes included in the price?

Cancellations

→ Can I cancel a reservation I have already made?

Yes. However cancellation fees are determined by the accommodation and displayed on your booking conditions.

→ Will I be charged if I cancel my reservation?

In case of a free cancellation reservation you will not have to pay any cancellation fee. In case your reservation can no longer be canceled for free, you can pay a cancellation fee. Cancellation charges are determined by the accommodation for which you wish to make a reservation.

→ Can I cancel or change the dates of a non-refundable reservation?

It is not possible to change the dates of a "non-refundable" reservation. If you choose to cancel your reservation, you may have to pay fees. Any cancellation fees are set by the accommodation.

→ How can I check the cancellation conditions of the accommodation?

You can check this information at the time of booking and / or your reservation confirmation.

→ How do I know if my reservation has been canceled?

After canceling a reservation at Click2Porgual, you will receive an email confirmation of the cancellation of the reservation. Please also check your inbox and junk and spam folders. If you do not receive an email please contact the accommodation to confirm the cancellation receipt.
